Firstly, Trinity of Battle is pleased to offer a rare opportunity to join our small and very creative Kitchen team, as a Kitchen Porter / Commis Chef. We specialise in a modern menu with a traditional flare and you’ll be working alongside our dynamic and well established team . You’ll be assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen and the creation of the Chef’s specials board, A La Carte and Lunch menus.
This role is offered on a permanent basis (please do not apply if you are going to university in September) and is a great opportunity for a someone still at catering college or who is starting out in hospitality, or indeed for someone who would like to take a step back from a higher grade position .
We would be pleased to accommodate those wishing to continue in local catering courses, developing their skill set and bringing fresh ideas to assist in driving Trinity forward.
You’ll need to be enthusiastic, articulate, organised and with a good eye for detail and you’ll be encouraged to grow and develop in your role.
In-house training will be given and personal development is encouraged.
This job offered is with an immediate start, following a work trial period .
Trinity of Battle is open for service over a 4 day working week, which is Wednesday to Saturday.
Benefits are Tips, plus Trinity does NOT operate a split shift system and is closed Sunday to Tuesday (inclusive) … affording that work / life balance that we all need.
Flexibility with shift patterns is required, over the 4 days — (10:00 am being the earliest start) with kitchen service being 12:00- 21:00 hrs; your working hours arranged in advance via rota.
You must be able to arrange your own travel arrangements to Battle which does not rely on public transport to get you home in the evenings.

Second up, we are now looking for a part-time dynamic 'someone' to join our amazing front-of-house staff, assisting in driving Trinity forward.
If you have what it takes to integrate into a well-established restaurant, liaise between our customer base, front-of-house and kitchen staff, with the desire to push us ever forward, please get in touch. This position will also be snapped up so do not delay.
This opportunity of 20+ hrs per week (more in the school holidays) is a permanent position with great rates of pay and an equal share of tips (experienced applicants only please, not from those going to University in September) is over our 4 day working week which is Wednesday to Saturday. Flexibility with shift patterns/hours is required - 10:00hrs start and last kitchen service being 21:00hrs with working hours arranged in advance on our rota.
